ABOUT BIG GLASSES
Big Glasses Consulting is a mission-driven ESG and sustainability consulting firm with proprietary platforms and approaches to help companies find and demonstrate ESG impact and financial value.
Simply, ESG represents intangible, non-financial assets that create or destroy value, and they comprise up to 90 percent of a company’s marketplace worth.
In 2021, founder Melissa Baldridge formed Big Glasses Consulting based on what she learned since 2004 in sustainability and ESG – that better assets can and should command higher market prices than non-ESG-integrated companies (the green premium). As a result, she developed the BEV Platform as a proprietary platform and algorithm to create financial value and drive business. Big Glasses Consulting brings these decades of deep, tested experience to every engagement to help clients achieve the green premium through ESG and regeneration.
Big Glasses Consulting is a public benefit corporation (PBC) registered in the State of Colorado. That means we prioritize ESG on par with our financial performance, legally committing to walk our talk. We’re also a certified business with the City and County of Denver (SBE, MWBE, DBE, EBE). When you work with us, you help our SME, minority-owned business grow and thrive.
Moving to Regenerative Business
We believe ESG is a much-needed North Star to guide global capitalism because it guides business beyond the bare, legally required minimums. Yet it’s hardly the end of the road. Infinite growth can’t happen in finite systems, and the same is true for global capitalism.
Along with other vanguard companies, our goal is to create regenerative business – business that gives back more than it takes from natural resources and social systems.
This requires a big rethink of business systems, strategies, models and delivered value in addition to the non-financial asset management known as ESG. We believe in the TINA approach with regenerative business – There is no alternative.
So we’re moving ourselves and our clients to regenerative business models as a way to de-risk, future-proof and give back.
