Melissa Baldridge
Founder
Melissa Baldridge brings 20 years of experience and expertise working at the intersection of sustainability, broader ESG initiatives and business. Her superpower is developing ESG business cases and assets that deliver both business profitability and sustainability impact. She’s internationally recognized and award-winning for her innovation and excellence in sustainability.
In 2010, Melissa co-founded a hybrid real estate development and sustainability company that transacted over $340 million in real estate sales. She and her team audited, energy-modeled and green-certified over 1.4 million square feet of property. She helped prove the green premium in the real estate market.
Melissa and teams have designed and implemented numerous corporate ESG programs. She assessed and created an ESG risk matrix for a division of a major oil and gas company, using climate-risk scenario analysis to help clients identify climate threats and opportunities.
An environmental management expert, Melissa has also worked with circular products and processes, developing business plans for two $5 million biochar startup companies in Colorado and programming for a .org tasked with developing robust circular infrastructure in the state. She has done municipal-level and corporate greenhouse gas reporting, including supply and value chain mapping. She has also worked with professional services companies, including a major international consulting firm to gamify the CDP greenhouse gas reporting framework for maximum point gain and to create a behavioral economic model for internal sustainability procurement buy-in.
